While some of this is covered by various rental listing services by their insurance, it rarely covers all damage, and certainly does not cover down time to have cleaning and repairs completed while losing rental income or having to cancel the next bookings. These types of unexpected expenses are unfortunate, but manageable if you’re prepared for the inevitable bad guest.
